Re: The Touch Pro2 "Must Have" Application List...
live mesh does not work on my Sprint Touch Pro 2. After entering my login info, the application crashes. When running it again, the application crashes again. Has anybody been able to get it to work? Here is a link with users posting similar issues:

Re: The Touch Pro2 "Must Have" Application List...
MyMobiler (Free): Remote view/control your phone. Also comes with a file browser which allows you to install cabs remotely. Portable and very lightweight.
Astraware Sudoku (Free*): Fun time waster. * I downloaded this from the Microsoft link, which doesn't seem to mention that this is a trial copy or anything like that. While there is a commercial version, my copy hasn't expired (yet). Midomi (Free): ID any music by singing/tapping or recording from speakers. RemoteTracker (Free): Track, lock, wipe out your phone remotely if your phone is lost/stolen. Still trying experimenting with this, but it's the only free tool that does this kind of stuff afaik. Microsoft My Phone (Free and Commercial): Back up your phone address book, messages, pictures etc, making it easy to hard reset/migrate your phone, all for free. They are also offering location/wipe services, but these won't be free (a trial is available for now). PocketIRC (Shareware): For you old schoolers out there, this is probably one of the better IRC clients out there. Doesn't expire as far as I know. Works great on my TP2. QIK: Stream your TP2 video to the internet. It's a nice to have application, you never know when you need to document something live ![]() KforTouchPro (Freeware): Allows you to use the physical keyboard with applications such as LogMeIn. Search the forums to find a link. Google Maps (Freee): Definitely a must have, works well with GPS and cell tower triangulation. LogMeIn.com (Free): Take full control over your PC. Requires the KforTouchPro software and lmipie tool. Rhodium Keyboard Controller (Free): Remap almost any button. |

Re: The Touch Pro2 "Must Have" Application List...
SmartPhoneTracker: I believe its a free app. it will send GPS coordinates, a picture from phone , and google map picture of location when activated with an SMS of your choosing. I highly recommend this app in case you leave your phone somewhere or it gets stolen. Search forums here or google it.
Midori music finder: very cool app that will recognize a song if you hum it or listen to it Free Groovefish: search for song or artist automatically and it will stream to you . No fancy graphic, just simple , but functional WMWIFIROUTER : instant wifi hotspot, do a search for last free version If you search ppcgeeks, I believe you can find most of these apps . Call Firewall: Cannot recall if this is freeware or not but is handy for blocking, screening calls, etc. WVD :windows video downloader/: will download youtube and some adult stuff as well AmAze GPS: this is a FREE gps program. Although there are many others better for sale, this is actually one that is similar to real gps instead of google maps ,It actually turns the map like most gps programs as you turn directions. You need data connection for this to work well. Clean Ram: I believe this is freeware also. Comes in handy to keep your phone memory freed up, also helps some TP2 users be able to play Need for Speed Undercover. I tried to list some that have not been listed that are freeware , if this helps anyone please hit the Thanks button..... Peace Last edited by lefty11; 10-11-2009 at 06:59 AM. |
