Any WinMo site will tell you it does. It is a whole different question if verizon will let you use other carrier sims in it.

wouldnt that voilate the fcc?

what would be the point of the backcover meaning its a "world phone" when the locked the sim feature? or were you meaning carriers here in the states?

if they did "lock" it i wouldnt give a flying F i just want everything the tp2 seems to be coming along with. i never go over seas

I agree, the worldphone feature doesn't really "wow" me. I never go over seas either and verizon has great coverage/data speeds wherever I travel.

They will with the Storm. You just have to call and ask them to help you unlock it.

My "new every two" comes up in November on VZW. I was gonna move from my current XV6800 (HTC Titan) to the TP, but if I can take this home for $300 or less I'm gonna pull some leapfrog action. Hopefully the GPS is unlocked so I don't have to flash really early TP2 roms.
