Yeah, you're right, Sprint was $40 more for full retail, but on a 2 year it was $50 cheaper.

I know that, I was asking for specifics (where is it under). No matter, I'll log in and look around.

Edit: found it. Says I used 25,798.52KB this cycle.

Well, unless you can find some more proof, I believe the Mogul was priced identical to the XV6800, and the Verizon Touch Pro was $40 cheaper than Sprint's Touch Pro.

Both statements are based on full retail price immediately at release. Look it up.

Not talking about full retail. Almost nobody pays that. I'm talking about the 2 year price. Verizon's Touch Pro (despite being gimped) released at $420 with a $70 rebate and stayed in that ballpark for a while. Sprint's Touch Pro was $299 IIRC and was purchased by some on this forum for as low as $199. By the time Verizon's XV6800 came out, the Mogul had been out 6 months and could be had at significant discount.

yeah theyre forcing the data plan on any phone released after Nov 2008, so the latest HTC model you can get without a data plan now is the 6800, thats what a CSR told me. So not only do you have to get a 2yr contract but you have to pay an extra $360 a year for the data plan (which is a really cool feature but before this i wasnt using the internet on my phone)

you can still get the pay/KB data plan and not pay a fee each month as long as you do not want the internet. This is what i use on my 6800 as i mostly use it for its PDA purposes and not for the internet. Plus i use the WiFi when i need to get online.

Silverkorn read the reply that you quoted, if you have a 6800 or previous model you dont need the plan on any phone created past that point you do.

Guys, go talk about a data plan somewhere else. This message is already cluttered enough.

Looks like Verizon has officially anounced the existence of TP2! No date or price yet, but progress nonetheless.
