I was in a retail store, talking to a person that i know, and district manager told me he had a talk with Verizon CEO, and that Sept 15 was the soft date for this to be released, said it would line up good with the rest of the lineup launch and everything, said they were very happy to to have this device has well.

So that is all that i know.

but this is coming from a newb

Well, mine is nowhere near as good, but it adds confirmaation...

So I was talking to a retentions person (phone) and she asked about doing my new every two. I said well maybee once the TP2 comes on out... and she says "Oh you won't have to wait long for that, it is right around the corner".

I bounce back w/ "well rumor has it around 9/15". She says "that sounds about right". I try to pin her down but she doesn't seem to have authority, and seems like she just can't say...

So sounds like conflippers sources are spreading the word internally, but keeping wraps as tight as they can.

All of this stuff people are saying about September 15th, sounds like the same stuff people were saying they "heard" about Aug27

I do hope the 15th is the day.. regardless.

The difference is it was one shady remark that mentioned the August 27th date. Now people are claiming the 15th is from actual Verizon employees.

ahuh great fairy tale about being a n00b. Heck you go on ANY ppc community, everyone knows who you are LOL n00b and con in the same sentence logically just doesn't follow =/

I say if con has good word on it, go with con...never been wrong yet...and trust me that's been a good asset for ppc

speaking of how is that new rom coming along? I saw you incorporated some 2.5 elements in manila very nice touch
