Re: Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications

I currently have a touch pro 2 and want to purchase an evo directly from HTC. Will the EVO work by just inserting my sim card from the TP2? I am on the sprint network. Thanks for any replies!

To clarify. The TP2 is a dual CDMA and GSM device... so it is one of two Sprint phones that does have a SIM Card. The original Sprint SIM card is designed to be used to roam with overseas GSM carriers who are associated with Sprint. You can also buy an overseas prepaid SIM card and use it. Without modifying the radio programming you can't use the TP2 on domestic GSM carriers. The EVO of course has no GSM capabilities and no SIM card.

So its like that fancy blackberry with the "clicky" screen? I saw one of those once and wondered why there was a SIM Card in a CDMA device, and then saw that it was a so called "world phone" when I looked it up. They must have things where if you happen to get sucked off the continent, they can still drink your cash ☺.
