Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications

This may be a stupid question, but...

The ICS fix cab in the original post only allows ICS through a USB connection. Is Bluetooth possible, like on the TP, is it just waiting for the unlock, or is there another setting I can change that I am missing?

I am not sure if anyone else has posted this but for those of you who have requested it, here is the STOCK HTC Manila TouchFLO theme for your Touch Pro2. Copy to Windows directory using TotalCommander or Resco. (Be sure to choose your new Today Theme labeled Htc Black)

I like having some bookmarks in the start menu and figured out how to do it (likely there is an easier way)
1. Make a notepad file on your PC with the following:

Code:

94#"http://yourwebsite"

2. Rename file as *.lnk (for example yahoo.lnk)
3. Move file to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Curious why the number 94 in that code? I played around with the properties of other .lnk files in the Programs menu, and they all seem to have their own number assigned...

Thanks for the tip though! I have a few favorite links in my Programs/Start menu now! One is a URL to local traffic cams, and the other is a NOAA weather radio stream!

Cool thanks! Anyone try this yet on the Sprint Touch Pro 2? I've been through my 5th Master Reset (mainly because the TF3D2 wallpaper app) already and don't want to go through it again!

I have the Sprint Touch Pro 2 and have tried this on my device and can confirm it works.

Don't you use a good quality backup app like SPB backup?/

I don't fear hard resets at all, I can hard reset & restore an SPB BU file & be right back in business 10 minutes later..........

Hi, Do you do a full backup using SPB backup and full restore? Just wondering if that messes with what the chef is trying to accomplish with their updates. for example, when I flashed the VOID ROM and did a full backup, the Titanium disappeared and couldn't find it for the life of me! I had SPB Mobile shell installed and could only switch back and forth from SPB Mobile Shell to TF3D and back....

does this change all the graphics or there is still some graphics that need to be worked out? I checked both in 2 separate windows in manila editor and found that there is some files are missing in the original one such as orange sprint tv, music icon and sprint background can anyone confirm this?
