Its in the "Notes" options. There is an option to set it to My Device or Storage Card. At that point ALL notes are stored on the storage card.

What format we need to change the Audio file
for it to show up as a SMS tone in the phone

I need to set my SMS tone sound & i have a Audio file
I changed it to Mp3 Mp4 Wav Windows Media audio

nothing makes it show up

Please help

make sure its in the right folder. put it in "./My Documents/" or ir you really want ./Windows/

I had it in My Doc & in there i have Ringers folder

but now i put it just in my Doc & worked

Its in my SD card

I haven't seen this posted in this thread so I will share.

There is a registry edit that allows you to change the behavior of the SMS sent notification.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Defau lt\Options
Then, change the DWORD value to any of the following value, which also shows its corresponding results on notification respond, depending on user’s preference:

• 0 – Show icon
• 1 – Show icon and play notification sound
• 2 – Show icon and vibration
• 3 – Show icon and vibration and play notification sound
• 4 – Same as 0
• 5 – Same as 1
• 6 – Same as 3
• 7 – Same as 3
• 8 – Show icon and notification bubble
• 9 – Show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble
• 10 – Show icon and notification bubble and vibration
• 11 – Show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble and vibration
• 13 – Same as 1

I noticed that under the Notifications key, there are other values there but with long funky names. Those are actually the registry values for the rest of the notications (ring, email, mms etc)

The Default key controls the SMS values.

Based on the values in the other keys under Notifications, I decided to copy a couple of the keys and place them under default

1. REG_DWORD - AvailableOptions = 11
2. REG_SZ - Default = Messaging: Sending SMS ( this is what is displayed in the dropdown.)

Now when you go to the Sound & Notifications tab under settings you will be able to select SMS notifications as you would for the ringer etc.

The only problem w/ defaulting notes to your storage card is that they no longer will sync w/ Outlook as best I can tell.

I would like you to relay this message to anybody who can make ROMS. If you have "Admin/Mod" powers go ahead and post on the forum for me xda-developers or ppcgeeks. I will donate $50 to anybody that can make me a custom theme for my "Sprint Touch Pro 2". It is already Hard-SPL unlocked. It is so simple. The theme is going to be EXACTLY like the Windows mobile 6.1 Sprint Touch Pro 2 EXCEPT everything has to be black and red. If someone can do this for me I will donate $50. If I am posting in the wrong area please put this post in the right area and also; for anyone that reads this post please relay this message to whomever you know can do this task for me.

My device > Application Data > Sounds

Easiest way for text tones to work. Can be any type of file
