"a little". Since there was never a hard release date, "a little" means nothing! Let us know at least the original hard release date so we can get a bearing on the "new" date... ](*,)

Clearance from FCC is a seperate matter. The phone works on the bands it claims, with the wattage advertised etc...

Clearance from the networks - Sprint, AT&T, VZW is an internal matter and can operate on a seperate timeline. Normally holdups are more a matter of bloatware than anything else and the resolution of hicups is at times unpredictable also. Production issues are another matter. Sure you can roll out 10,000 units a week, but can you whip out an equal number of spiffeh boxes with the Sprint label on them etc...

Agreed this story looks like speculation to me. Time will tell if there is anything to it.

A problem with the "os?" Do you really think WM 6.1 running on similar guts that the TP ran on is having a problem? Maybe it's the larger battery? ha! Quite likely the story is more about a website trying to cover an over ambitious prediction.

That makes plenty of sense, because i have a free line (1/3) to use but I don't wont to get the pre and be stuck with it

Does anybody know or have heard of the TP2 shipping with WM 6.5. If I'm not
mistaken, either at HTC or somewhere else, having specs saying 6.5, not 6.1
And that's probably worth the wait, no?

Plus, on twitter for HTC, there was a tweet that had a pic taken from the TP2
and their reply boasting on the work they're 'doing', not
done for the camera software. Hmmm.

Err yes... The image would look horrible stretched up to 1920x1200 on my laptop and just wouldn't look right.

Now a nice smooth nature based background can't be beat ;)
