Look at the leaked road map. 3rd quarter 2009 release. Sept. 09 is looking like the right date. I'd love to know what the Android/Google device is in the 4th quarter.

My way of handling this is fool proof. When it pops on Sprint's site... I will get excited.

That way I don't have to spend months guessing. LOL

Saw the playbook today and nothing showing yet not even on the mail in rebates.. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I will post proof if needed but will have another update next thursday.. Will create a thread in general "Sprint's Playbook"

well thats a big effing bummer.... whats with the rumors then that "Sept 6th is the date via the playbook"???? Guess thats all they were, just a rumor?

looks promising indeed, and that was from almost a year ago! wonder what ever happened to that project and if they developed anything useful.

i would imagine it probably went no where fast because a program would have to be written for multi-touch input and right now there isn't anything for WinMo that does multi-touch (except that little diagnostic program) so if someone were to do it they would probably have to code something from the ground up

So everyone has seen the pics by now and soon you will see the real deal. The release date for the phone is supposed to be September 6th!! So everyone with Sprint mark your calendars. I know I have!!

Well I can't wait but since I am paying full pop I am getting a little nervous. The telus version with no contract is $650, damn thats alot of money. I am hoping the sprint version is under $600 but at this point I doubt it. So hopefully I can get lucky if one of my friends would let me use their discount at bestbuy depending on what kind of deal they get on phones without contract considering BB like to jack up the price of the phones.
