Do Your Volume Settings?

i upgraded to latest mighty rom today. when i tried to press the volume control up or down i get a message on the screen that says do your volume settings. i went into diamond tweak and mad sure the htc was selected for volume control and it was. what coud be wrong?

did you customize your taskbar? that seems to cause problems with HTCVolumeControll.dll

unfortunately, I was in the same boat as you and the only way I found to get around it was to soft reset. Once I got sick of that, I hard reset and left the taskbar alone.

FYI: I have the same problems on a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 (Rhodium). I have had the phone for three weeks and suddenly out of the blue, when I touch either of my Volume Hard Buttons I get a little callout bubble:

"HTC Volume Control Do Your Volume Settings" instead of volume control

instead of my volume. I have not changed anything on my Rhodium, but I have been using Wisbar Advanced 3 for the last 3 weeks without a hitch.
