Re: Is your Bing still working???
I used to be a bing user lover once, not till i installed x-rom with lots of free space, bing have such a long time to find your location which is very frustrating sometimes, and plus it drains out the battery so much!!!, ive been using google maps ever since and i really like it, try it out!

Re: Is your Bing still working???
Mines been doing this too. Google maps will at least get me directions, but no nav, voice, or recalc route = suckage.
I just hope M$ isn't updating Bing (server side) so that it doesn't work with WinMo anymore.

Re: Is your Bing still working???
this totally sucks. i'm ridiculously bad with directions, lol. i use bing navi a lot. stuck using google maps but i like the turn by turn instructions. *sigh* did anyone try contacting someone about this to get a definitive answer on what is going on? i'm assuming it's on the bing side of things since everything else on the phone is working (gps/internet)

I'm using the Sprint Navigation app instead now but I liked the bing app better.

Re: Is your Bing still working???
After reading this thread I have tried the past two days to see if I was affected. I did initially show some delay trying to locate my position but once I did, no issues and navigation has worked fine. I haven't removed/reloaded in some time and hope M/S isn't abandoning another great winmo app.
Good luck to all. |

Re: Is your Bing still working???
I ran a wireshark trace and bing is responding to the queries but the app doesn't like something inside the response. It looks like bing is not able to translate the data. I wish I would have ran this test before it broke to compare the results.
