Question Activesync error after changing regional setting to non-English

My TP2 can't activesync after I change its regional setting to a non-English locale. Thinking it may have been caused by an app that I've installed, I've tried again after factory reset and the result is the same.

On the other hand. a Samsung Omnia 2 that I borrowed for trial syncs fine when the regional setting is changed to a non-English locale.

I don't know where to begin. No discussion found on google search either.

Any ideas?

I guess you mean syncing with your exchange server? Otherwise, if you are saying that your device won't sync with your pc via usb using Activesync then that makes no sense.

Yes, I should have been clearer. The error occurs during syncing with my exchange server. Any idea why?

The data connection is not working properly somehow. When you change this regional setting are you still on your home network? Maybe a PRL update would help.
