Otherwise, if you are saying that your device won't sync with your pc via usb using Activesync then that makes no sense.

			Yes, I should have been clearer. The error occurs during syncing with my exchange server. Any idea why?

			The data connection is not working properly somehow.  When you change this regional setting are you still on your home network?  Maybe a PRL update would help.
