Data network settings and configuration help

I just got back from another country and my data network is all messed up. I can't seem to use my Sprint data plan now that I'm State side.

I did use a local SIM card while I was away and did use data there and it worked fine.

When I go into START>SETTING>CONNECTIONS>CONNECTION SETUP....the country is US but the Operator doesn't list "Sprint."

When I go into START>SETTING>CONNECTIONS>CONNECTIONS...I see in bold "My ISP" and "My Work Network." I asked another TP2 user and I should see "Data Network" in place of "My ISP."

Does anyone know how to set this up? Thanks!

Try going to settings and Update Profile. You might see Hands Free Activation running. That should get your data running.

Hmmm, you still have that out of country SIM in?

Nope! Np SIM at all. I think I'm going to have to hard reset it.

You shouldn't have to mess with connection setup. The connections>connections being "my isp" seems like it just needs to be provisioned. Both of mine there I set to Sprint. Try to provision again and it should be fine.

I'm not as savy as you guys. What's does "provision" again mean?

What rom are you using?
Like others have said, reprovisioning(running Update Profile & PRL or running a Sprint provisioning/carrier cab)should fix you up.

I just gave it hard reset. Trying to avoid it but that was the easiest. Now I have more problems. I replace the cracked digitizer and now my keyboard is all messed up. It'll repeatedly type "fghj" until I force it to shut off. I also can't hear anything unless I use speaker phone or a external headset. Back to the drawing board.
