By the way, I've never tried SPB Mobile Shell. Am I really missing out?

I found it to be a great alternative to the stock interface. There were also some great themes out there for it. RSTG made a cool rom with it included at one point I believe. Granted it cost money (30 day trial)but it was well worth it imo. Honestly I'm not sure if they still offer it. Hopefully so.

edit: looks like it's still offered. good news. http://spb.com/products/mobileshell/

edit 2: here's a post with a nice theme that I liked http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/1604213-post26232.html

Thanks bro!
I'll consider giving it a try again.
What was the main thing you remember about it that you liked compared to other UIs?

No problem. It was just totally different. Widget based. I dare say somewhat android like. It's a great product. Also, used less ram so I felt it helped speed stuff up. I liked being able to put everything on 3 screens as well.

Re: Who Still Loves Their TP2?

havent had a better ppc than TP2 yet, so umma stick with it for a lil while, I wouldnt mind an iphone 4 or the 5 coming out as a toy, nomesayin

Horny, SPB mobile shell is a way to go, it provides you with quick access to all the TP2 functionality.
I do not recommend driving and setting GPS or else, but with SPB it is easier to reach the phone while it is sitting in the dash in a holding joint

Maybe you can clarify something else for me - to synch with an Exchange server on the Arrive, can you do it directly as you can on the TP2, or do you have to do so by synching with windows mail first?
@gjhuff because all the iPhone is now is hype generated from the media and iSheep. and yes u can sync with an exchange server like u can on the tp2. in the email and accounts option one has to goto add new account, then select outlook then enter the email address associated with the exchange server. I haven't personally tried it because I dont have an exchange server but the option is most certainly there.

@horndoctor I didn't really like it when I tried it back in November 09. I thought it was lacking compared to sense 2.1 but it definitely does have more to offer than the stock touchflo on both the TP1 and 2. the Facebook integration wasn't as good either.
