TP2 won't connect via ActiveSync or Diagnostic mode.

I am trying to connect the phone to CDMA workshop. The phone takes the ##3424# command and screen shows it is in DIAG mode but won't connect as a modem or opens a diagnostic port. It also won't connect with ActiveSync. I have done a master reset 3 times. I installed Energy ROM and still no go. I now have it back to stock and it still wont connect . Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you have the shipped rom back on then I suggest you clear storage/hard reset then uninstall and reinstall Activesync/Windows Mobile Device Center on your PC then try again. You might try a different cable and/or usb port and/or PC. Maybe Antivirus or Firewall software could be interfering?

Thanks for the reply. I did Task 29 and also did a hard reset multiple times... still won't connect. I have a windows 7 pc and a Win XP nad it won't connect to either one. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled active sync and WMDC on both PCs.

Re: TP2 won't connect via ActiveSync or Diagnostic mode.

then it's probably the cable (or connector/ion).
I assume it's still charging? do you get a pop-up (usb storage or activesync) on the phone when you plug it in?

if a new or verified cable doesn't work you can try cleaning the contacts on phone jack. best way to verify a cable is by running an external hdd (usb powered) with one and sustaining read/write for a while.

Yes it still charges and I have an extra Original HTC USB Cable that I just opened and i'm using that. I don't get the pop-up (usb storage or activesync) anymore that is the reason why it wont connect. And because of no pop I have done Hard resets, used Energy ROMs and flashed the Stock Rom:

RUU_Rhodium_W_WM65_Sprint_WWE_2.04.651.4_RS_2.32WF _NV_SPCS_2.20_0224_PRL60660_Ship

The only way I can flash is by SD Card only. I need to connect it to CDMA workshop to get the DATA settings (MIP Settings) Login ID and Passwords. Thanks for all the help.
