How to modify Verizon stock shipped rom with htcRIE_0.7.0.46?
Please move this post or show me the links of relevant posts if I repost the old question. I have searched before posting. Thanks.
I would like to modify this rom (delete some folders and files) : RUU_Rhodium_W_WM65_VERIZON_WWE_3.04.605.3_RS_2.23. 00WV_NV_VZW_1.94_1111_PRL58005_Ship.exe with htcRIE_0.7.0.46. ...but when I open the nbh file, I can only browse and the edit (delete) functions is disabled. Anyone can instruct me how to modify it like we can with custom roms? I want to delete some folders and files in the Verizon rom before flashing it to my phone. By the way, one more question: I intend to install this rom HTC Touch™ Pro2 (XV6875) Released 11/30/2010 MR3 Upgrade Will it relock my phone after the flashing? Or do I have to re-lock the phone before installing this rom (MR3)? My phone is already unlocked (Verizon Global GSM+CDMA Touch Pro2) Thanks in advance!
