Re: Best ROM

My favorite so far: Maverick SPB Mobile Shell ROM

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-d...5-updated.html

The rom only includes a 14-Day trail of SPB Mobile Shell.

Install the latest WimoSpeed overclocking tool and overclock it to 748Mz(stable).

Don't forget to use the "windows" hard button to access the menu where you can set the lock and update PRL.

Re: Best ROM

i"m using Mighty Rom, I've been using his ROMs for quite sometime, I've tried Sharkie, Energy, and wanted to try Blackout, but don't know if I'm downloading the right file, file finishes with Ruu.nbh. Blackout is actually the first one I wanted to try because of 6.1

Re: Best ROM

Can someone please point me in the right direction to get started in trying a different rom. As long as Ive had a TP2 (since it came out) I never tried a different rom. Changed the way it looked, etc. but no rom yet. Now that sprint has people like me (old plan) stuck with this phone I might as well try to make it new to me.

u aren't"stuck", u can upgrade ur phone. the extra $10-$20 a month that u'll probably pay is well worth having a better functional phone. not trying to be an ass or anything just sayin.

If it was only $10 I wouldnt mind. Might even atleast consider if it was $20. But it will cost me atleast $40 extra per month over what Im paying now. I think most people would find it hard to spend that much monthly just to get a different phone.

I have a fair/flex plan. paying about $25. $32 with insurance and tax. Unlimited inet, txting, etc. From what Ive seen I would pay about $30-$40 to get a newer plan.

Re: Best ROM

Now I'm looking for a good stock ROM, but without all the extra programs for a family memeber. Right now he's running an old Mighty ROm, and his phone been freezing all day. I had the stock one on, and he had no problems, but I'd like to put something a bit nicer, stock, but different icons and less junk.

Try LEAD ROM. He has a lite version.

Re: Best ROM

I'm done, I think I'm going back to Android, every ROM I flashed made the phone seem buggy, I know custom ROM aren't perfect, but my goodness, some of the smallest things get annoying. I've tried Sharkie, Energy, Stock. and Mighty Rom. I've owned this phone for four days, and I'm giving up. And I normally keep a new phone for at least a year, but not this time.
