upgrading from TP2 on Telus!

About time for me to upgrade to an android phone or WP7...

Anyone else done this and found something they're happy with?

Nothing seems to have a keyboard anymore...

Re: upgrading from TP2 on Telus!

I upgraded to the HTC Arrive/7 Pro back in march. im pretty happy with it, such a wonderful phone even before the mango beta update but of course the mango beta makes it much better. it does have a slide out keyboard but I rarely use it because the onscreen one is way more than adequate for my needs. I can quickly and accurately enter words without necessarily typing on the buttons fast as the word completion and correction on here is the best I've seen. so that's the phone I recommend u get or even one of the WP7s without a keyboard.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

checked out the htc desire hd today. seems pretty good. miss the keyboard. it is a very very fast phone, and the google maps is awesome on it. apparantly the new maps -only on android- allows you to download maps in offline mode! great for a travelling gps! no data necessary! but i dont think wp7 has this option yet.

also far more apps avail on android.
curious if the nexus is better than desire hd. lg has a wp7 model that was very responsive...

Re: upgrading from TP2 on Telus!

well the wp7 mango version of Bing maps downloads an entire section of a traveling area so it doesn't need to load as u go, that's almost the same I think.
