GPS ?
Hi all,

I've been using Waze for GPS on the TP2. Unfortunately, it stopped working the past few weeks, and I can't seem to get an answer as to whether it's ever going to be fixed. The most recent version can't even be installed on my TP2. Very sad, 'cause I loved Waze.

Is there anything similar that works? I'm using google maps right now, but to be honest, it's not all that.

Well... It's sad... But I think I know what happened... I just wen to the Waze site...
Free GPS Navigation with Turn by Turn - Waze
It looks like they too have dropped WinMo support.
I would recommend using Telenav (It should be pre-installed in your Sprint phone) They might also call it Sprint Navigation. Or use the navigation tools offered by google maps and Bing.

Take a look at Bing... not perfect, but it is very useful.

Bing for Mobile (To take a look with your PC)

Or go to m.bing.com on your TP2!

(completely forgot about Bing myself. BTW, Sprint Nav never worked for me, I've read that it's supposed to be free if you have a data plan, but it wants to charge me.)

Um, apparently Bing doesn't support TP2 anymore

Edit: it works from IE, but not from Opera.

What I meant was if I go to m.bing.com/download in Opera, I get a message saying my phone isn't supported. I think this happened once before, I don't remember what it was but when I tried to install with Opera, the site thought I was trying to install to Android or something.

Opening Internet Explorer and installing worked just fine. It's all good now.
