Unhappy Back light problems

Using Sprint htc touch pro2 When my back light goes out I cant wake it up in winmo 6.5 I can hear my calls and message alerts but nothing wakes it up.. not opening the keyboard, not messing with top or any other button not the stylus.

The only thing I can do is pull the battery and that gets to be a BIG pain.

I have flashed it several times and the factory settings are not truly coming back.

This problem doesn't happen if I boot to the android side. The back light button works fine on android.

Makes me think it is registry issue..

Please Help?? Thanks in advance

Tammy

Re: Back light problems

what u are experiencing is the common SOD (sleep of death issue). it is a common bug in older builds of wm6.5 and beta builds of 6.5.x, older builds of sense 2.5 may also be playing a role in it so what u need to do is either flash to a 6.1 rom or flash a 6.5 rom with a build number of 21916 then the issue will go away.

Re: Back light problems

Good luck, a lot of people I know have either just dealt with it, or moved on to another build
