Where is the proximity sensor on our phones

Like the title says.

Pictures would be nice.

Reason im asking is because I have a hard case over my phone however its messing with my proximity sensor. and it doesn't work correctly during calls.

I think I found a few pictures over google that says its over the sprint logo but when I flash a light towards it i dont see the box that is shown on the picture.

YouTube - HTC Touch Pro 2 Proximity Sensor Demo

but that phone has a front facing camera so I dont think its our phone maybe one from the uk or something?

Hey! I don't have a picture at the moment, but it is opposite the flashing led on this Verizon TP2. Should be similar with your device.

But to answer your question , its exactly where that guy is puting his finger over , its right above the top right corner of the screen . right above where the start menu is on a wm6.5 build . i attatched a picture for you .

I must have done something to the registry because mine is not working. Ill try a task29 and reflash and hope that fixes it.

Thanks!

Re: Where is the proximity sensor on our phones

lol No problem elesbb.

The damage is done. I reflashed and everything is working fine. I had to cut a hole in my screen protector that may have been a contributing factor

Thanks.
