Use a TP2 as a bluetooth "headset" on a Droid

Due to work I can't use my Droid Thunderbolt while in front of customers or in the office. What I would like to do to get around that is to enable my TP2 as a bluetooth "headset" that I could receive the calls on. Is this even possible? I've been able to pair the two devices but I need to enable the TP2 as a headset somehow before the Thunderbolt will recognize it. This possible?

I know on the tp2 u could BT connect it to a PC and then run all the audio from it to the PC. if Android has this same ability u can connect it to ur PC and then take ur calls while at ur PC if u have a plug in headset. u can even take it a step further and get a wireless headset (normal or USB).

I don't have any helpful advice, but was wondering why you could use one device and not the other? Just curious as I was reading your post...

Re: Use a TP2 as a bluetooth "headset" on a Droid

It all depends on what functionality was enabled on the BT stack. Technically if you can enable the device to broadcast the headset service, it would work (kinda). You would still need software to be the human interface. I have not heard of or seen anything that can do this, but that does not mean that it does not exist.
