Re: activesync does not connect
My work computer was having a hard time recognizing my tp2 as well, I reinstalled Activesync on my PC and it took care of the problem.
When you plug your phone in, does it come up with the three options for Activesync, Disk drive and Phone as modem? |

Re: activesync does not connect
Yes, it does. On the PC for the first few tries Activesync would return an error but after a few tries it does nothing.

Re: activesync does not connect
I know that in order to get mine to sync, I had to go into Active Directory Users and computers, go to properties on my user, then security, then click the button to allow inheritable permissions. Synced great after that.

Re: activesync does not connect
data connection being on or not has nothing to do with AS connecting or not. try this OP: start, settings, connections then USB to PC and uncheck the box that says enable faster data synchronization. should be able to work after that otherwise u may need to hard reset. however i do reccomend u tryy a cloud sync solution such as AS exchange or microsoft myphone, ever since i started using these i never did an AS sync again.

Re: activesync does not connect
Thanks for all the reply. In the end I just gave up and flashed the phone. Didn't realize that a hard reset would have done the trick, you live and learn. Thanks for the myphone tip too.
