Change Model Number?

Is it possible to change the model number and image that shows up in Windows from the phone itself? I have a VZW TP2 and when I was using MightyRom it would show up properly as an XV6875, and the image in Windows Mobile Device Center showed up as a VZW TP2. I have been using EnergyRom and now it shows up as a T7373, and the image is of a Sprint TP2. I tried to search but didn't find anything (probably due to not knowing what to search for)
