yep....

you can also use it to stream wifi to bluetooth devices or to other stuff including reverse wifi sharing to a pc without wifi

you can get a sim card and unlock it and use it as a wifi hotspot ( 1x only...) on another carriers network

or you can send it to me and ill use it to further my evil plans to take over the world lol

i think op was serious about the question, not sure why your calling him a troll? all he asked is what it can do not what evo cant.

Well obviously the Touch Pro 2 is a phone and a pocket PC not a doorstop or a skipping stone. If someone went into the Evo Forums and asked the same thing he asked but asked it about the Evo what do you think the response would be?

Furthermore, if I went and made a similar post in the Evo Forums on this site I would be accused of baiting and trolling to try to get Evo users to flame me. You guys told us to report this kind of crap so that's exactly what I did! I was told if I witness stuff like this to report it and it will stop so I'm not sure why you are questioning me for reporting it.

The reason I went to the evo was because my TP2 was taking forever to load apps and was so slow. Like I would click Messaging and it would take 3 to 5 seconds to load them, or even when I hit the call button, it would take 3 to 5 seconds to load it. Its reaction time was so slow, so I had to switch to something else before I threw it against the wall for the 500 time.

Actually I was looking for a more productive response such as linux on it or something more use than just collecting dust since I changed my phone. Doorstop or skipping stones are something called exaggeration, it was said to get the point across. I'm trying to productively still use my decent touch pro 2 instead of using it as a 'door stop' or 'skipping stone' AKA COLLECTING DUST SINCE I HAVE ANOTHER PHONE NOW.

Is that better rephrased for you? Any one else have any ideas such as maybe a linux release? I don't think using it as a hotspot would work because its no longer on a data network... none the less on the network at all... I do like the idea of a remote for the PC.

Yea but if you reply to the post you reported, you're as guilty as the offender.

I for one have been asking myself this same question about my TP2. Thanks for the help OP!
