TP2 cracks

My TP2 just seems to have sprouted cracks, im really not sure how, but my prolem is im not sure what part is cracked. I understand there is an lcd screen and a digitizer screen. I see the digitizer on ebay and I see it can be a problem getting them seperated and im not clear on what to use to reattach them, self adhesive maybe on the new part. Anyway, the cracks run the length og the dispplay area and appear to be above the image, I have a screen protector on it and I think thats what is holding the glass in place. The images seem fine so am I correct in guessing this is just the digitizer i've broken, is that the top part, and not the lcd screen?

Does the screen still respond to touch? If so, the digitizer is working and it is just the screen (not the lcd). The problem is separating the screen from the digitizer will probably break them both. Try to find a replacement that comes with both parts together so it can be replaced as a unit.

I say take it in to a service/repair store and they will fix it or replace it if you have insurance. If you're with Sprint they will fix it for $35 if even if you don't have insurance. If you don't have insurance and you want to try to fix it yourself then like demon said get the digitizer and lcd assembly for easier installation.
