Problem to forward calls from (Google Voice--> Gizmo5) to Skype on my TP2
I read the article "how to connect google voice to skype" from http://www.lucafiligheddu.com/2009/03/how-to-connect-google-voice-to-skype.html#. Then I went to my Gizmo5 account to set forwarding all calls to Skype and filled in my Skype username. After that I called my google voice number, however, I did not get any rings from my Skype on my TP2. Frustrated! Anyone knows what is going on? Thanks.

that article OP is 1 month away from being 2 years old.. SKype, or GV couldve changed/blocked/modded the method needed to make this work...

Gizmo isnt working for that kind of thing anymore. Check out some of the other free Voip providers that offer free outgoing calls and/or incoming. For GV you absolutely want free incoming. Whistlephone is what I use for me home setup at the moment. Free local number. Free incoming and outgoing, but my Google voice has much better voice mail features, so that's my main number. Plus using the GV for outgoing you dont have to listen to Whistlephone's commercials.
If you can score a SipSorcery account you really open up some awesome options!
