tp2 setup issues and help please

just got my wifes tp2 tp2 number 3 in the house this one is not syncing on active synce at all like you plug the usb in and then nothing nappens it will charge off the usb but not sync the pcs vision is errorin g out on me i would like to reflash it to see if that fixes it but i need to know how to flash from the SD card

Easy fix.

Open windows mobile device center on your computer and click on mobile device settings and then on connection settings.
Make sure "Allow USB Connections" is checked.
That should do it.
