phone lock

yes im a noob.. i locked my phone in a hurry and now my supossed pass doesnt unlock.. anyway around it? or just reflash? any tips?

Nothing other than a hard reset as far as I know.

depending what locking app you use , ive already been able to connect via activesync and use wince reg editor to retrieve my password ... its been awhile since ive done that though , cant really tell ya how i did it , as i forget . lol

yea thats another option, but by the time the regkey is found it would have been the time to hard reset and reload everything

depends on the OP , they may be able to lose any information stored on their phone . for me , id do the hard reset

as i back up every week .

It the lock is worth anything, it won't connect via activesync until the device is unlocked. I think that's the way the stock WM lock works, but I've never used a pin and am using pocketshield at the moment.
