Opera Mini 5

Is there any way to make opera mini save to sd card. My only options are to save to program memory.

save cache? never tried it but did you try the opera regular deal where you type in "opera config"? that brings up lots of options on regular opera like sd storage.

Kinda a highjack of my thread. But just select default browser on the current non beta version

Other than installing a different version that asks where you want to install it you could use an app like sktools that will move it for you. It will move an application to storage card and change the registry and install info.

I'm dying to know why you need it to "save" to the sd card? Opera Mini already has a very small memory space footprint. IT DOES NOT USE/CREATE CACHE FILES as all the content is rendered on Opera's servers. You sure you are not confusing Opera Mini with Opera Mobile?

If you are basically trying to save the datastore files from:
\program files\opera mini\ds\*

Hand edit the file:
\program files\opera mini\datastore.ini

Replace all the ds\* file references with whatever your sd card path is and copy those files to an appropriate directory on your storage card.

Well if I want to download the latest android package. The file is larger than my program memory so opera wont have room to save it since I have no storage. I need it to save it to sd card where I have plenty of room.
