How to stop fat fingering contacts on my phone!

Been looking at threads for a couple of weeks now trying to figure out the cleanest thing to do. Lot of information to wade thru.

I hate the phone interface of my new TP2. I tend to fat finger a lot and I am constantly calling contacts or last calls by mistake because the contact list is so prominent and it is so easy to call someone from the list.

I know this is a feature for some, but not for me.

I would like an interface that simply showed the keypad when the phone is first opened, giving me the ability to go to contacts if I want. Can't figure out how to do that. I am using 6.5 stock with a set of tweaks that...I can't remember the thread they came from. Anyway, I don't think the tweaks dealt with the phone interface.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
