okay i downloaded opera 9.7 and its seems really slower then opera mini 5 is there ways to make it faster

I think I just upgraded to mini 5.1. It was an OTA update and works fine. My regular one is 9.7 which must be stuck in the ROM from Sprint as I cannot remove it. I can see why people go for custom ROMs...
