I have heard that I'm not the only one who needs to disable and then enable data connection to get access to internet on flashed Touch pro 2 on cricket network. My phone data connection usually works for couple of hours before it dies out and I have to go to connection manager to make it work again. I was wondering if I can somehow create a script to automate connect/disconnect session everytime my phone is trying to access network. It get's really annoying when I talked to someone on the phone then want to start google maps to check the traffic and it doesn't work.

You should be able to make a script to do what you want.
It sounds like something is not right with your rom though.
Have you always had this issue? Have you tried roms made specifically for cricket? Is there a specific radio version that you should use with cricket? If so the I say reflash the radio and reprovision.
I wish I had more to offer but since I'm a sprinter I don't know a lot about cricket.

thanks for the response. I've been running different ROMs, it doesn't seem to be ROM specific. According to some folks on howardforums it's HTC handset specific problem with cricket. I'd like to have some sort of script that will reconnect every half hour or so. It is very annoying and I even thought of changing carrier.
