Better Camera App or Fixes?

Hello

Just had my 1st child a few weeks ago, so I have been using my camera on my TP2 allot, and found it is really lacking. Very Slow and the quality is not even as good as my old flip phone from years ago. Is they any hack for the camera or replacement apps? I know it will never rival a stand alone camera, just looking for something a bit better.

Knock out the plastic cover over the camera on the back cover of the phone.
