What software to make it better and what security issue?

I looked and looked and even popular former TP2 Chefs get queried about a fix like OMJ and said sorry, it's still broken.

If you store your contacts in GMail it works. What I had to do was export them from outlook, strip out the Notes in Excel and import them in Gmail. Now I have to maintain two sets of contacts if I want it to work.

I have not rooted it yet and probably will. But folks that build Custom ROMs don't have an answer yet. It was only since V2.2 they had Bluetooth Dialing at ALL.

Now that I have done that hack, it's working fairly well. But Voice Dial did hang once as well.

I don't regret getting it. But boy what a disappointment that was. I'm glad I waited at least this long for Android.

I think new phone every 6 month is excessive, but I get the bug every year. With the money I save on SERO I justify it to myself I'm still on SERO Premium now.

But you still have the security issue.
What security issues?
lol!
I just meant that he said that he had sensitive info in his contacts and didn't want to upload that info to Google's server obviously for security reasons.

You don't have to upload anything to Google servers if you don't want to...it always asks permission before doing anything..

They don't take anything without permission..as stated before if someone wants they can completely remove Google's presence from Android...
