yep - took it outside a few feet away from the building and I would say within 5 meters easily.

Okay.
Thanks to both of you for the info of the inclusion of quickgps in 6.5 stock. Thanks given. Installed Bing app and it did locate me, but only when I stick it out the window, and, again, about 20meter accuracy but that's because of the building. If I'm inside, I'd have to use google maps as it will locate me without gps sight. |

+1 for bing. bing so far gave me exact location. google maps usually tells me that i am with 2100m of some place

I think gmaps will use both cell tower and gps if the gps signal is low and Bing relies soly on gps signal. That would explain the two connecting differently. +1 to bing being better than gmaps for gps
