Does the Sprint TP2 come with a Sim card?
 

Simply put, there's one on eBay that I'm eyeballing, and in the Picture, it looks like there's no im card.

I'm a complete Newb to Sim cards, so I don't know whether the Sprint TP2 even comes with one/needs one to function?

you don't need it unless you plan to go abroad, but yes, it comes with one.

It is cheaper to buy a prepaid SIM at your destination, than to pay Sprint International roaming rates. Your Sprint Touch Pro2 is already SIM unlocked.

...also, if the SIM is installed, its under the battery and may not be seen in pics even if the back cover is off.... or its inside the pack in the box that contains all the user manuals and such...

if you plan on using NRG Roms and Tethering-you WILL need a SIM of some sorts-FYI(from what ive read)..

say what? i hate his roms but never in my life used a sim or cant think of a reason you would need to for tethering.

i shit you not man... i use NRG, but Im JUL.17-well b4 it started, so Im all good... but yeah, sounded real funny to me to.. but read http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...nergy-rom.html youll see thats the suggestion there also(as well as in NRGs Rom Thread) and its even backup by users updating saying SIM/Tether combo was only way to get it working...

Im not even sure if NRG even ever said why its required now all the sudden..

Yeah, stealth tethering only works in global mode. otherwise tethering will be detected by your carrier.

u wont need if u plan on using android on it because atleast in my case i had to take it out so i can be able to have reception
