What can I do with TP2 that has its imei blocked with sprint?

Friend of mine found sprint TP2 and apprently its logged as lost in sprint database. Can he use it with verizon or any other provider? If so, How?

You can always use it as a glorified PDA.

If he was the original owner, he could call up Sprint and get them to unblock the ESN. Otherwise you'll have to get it flashed to another carrier, so see the above list.

if its has a lost block on it, that means its owner called it in obviously.. you could call sprint and ask for a return kit, and just send it back... if the owner lost it and bought or had another device to use, Sprint will send it back to the owner..... if the owner did an insurance claim(lost), asurion would get the phone.... +X on the Karma issue lol

If it was you who lost it, I bet you would want it back.
On the other hand call Sprint and explain how phone was given to you and have them contact the og owner and explain the situation to them, maybe owner would be willing to deal with you.
