Re: Stuck on 0%

Tried using task29 + unlocker, still stucked. Phone does not want to flash anything it seems. I thought that as long as I can enter bootloader, I can flash anything but it seems that this might be the true bricked tp2? Task29 seems to have corrupted the bootloader or the spl thing?

Hmm...
When you put it in bootloader and try to flash the shipped rom what happens exactly?
At any point did you try to flash a cdma shipped rom or the cdma unlocker? If so then there is your problem.
What does it say when you put it in bootloader?

Re: Stuck on 0%

When in bootloader, the progress bar appears normally but the screen remains frozen at 0% and on the "Loading" screen when trying to flash on sd card. About the cdma rom/unlocker, no I didn't try any of them.

Ok
Can you post here what it says on screen when you put it in bootloader?

Are you sure your battery is charged?
Do you have a storage card in the slot while trying to flash from bootloader when connected to your pc? If so remove it then pull battery and replace battery then use button combo to put it in bootloader again and try flashing the shipped rom again.

Could you have a bad sim card?

Re: Stuck on 0%

Bootloader shows:
RHOD100 32M SS-BC
SPL-0.85.OliNex
MicroP(LED) 0x0A
MicroP(KEY) 0x04
TURBO HW/TURBO SW
TP MFG DATA

Everything seems normal on booloader though. I've tried 2 fully charged new batteries as well as tried with 3 usb cables and usb port from phone is working fine (serial-->usb when connected to computer). No storage card is present when flashing and sim card slot is not damaged since phone is as new condition without any physical damage to it. I also tried to remove the simcard to flash but zero progress so far.

Re: Stuck on 0%

I know that there are a lot of strange issues with the some cards working and some cards not working to flash from SD. Make sure it is formatted to Fat32 before copying a ROM to it. Stupid question but are you using the right CDMA vs. GSM version? Also, try redownloading the ROM, if it got corrupted in some way then it won't work (I had this happen to me with your same symptoms). Also, try to re-lock and then re-unlock, I've had that help too.

Re: Stuck on 0%

Try these 2 things:

1) if you're flashing from windows 7, try using XP

2) Flash just a different radio, without a ROM, see if the progress bar goes up.

3) Try another USB cable. charge your phone to 100% and try again.

4) refrigerate your phone for 30 minutes then try again (don't ask me why, but I have had this solve some problems)

Yes, already tried using different sd cards and i've downloaded a lot of roms to test - none flashed though. I can't re-lock and re-unlock since the phone itself is stucked at 0% when I try to flash anything. Can you share how did you manage to unbrick your phone?

Well I have had that happen multimple times but it wasn't really locked or bricked. Some of the reasons were trying from PC with card in, bad ROM etc, PC not really "detecting phone" in bootloader mode etc...

to be clear, without a card inside, connected with the original USB cable and activesync connecting to your phone in bootloader mode (in other words - your pc detects the phone even in bootloader and you can verify that in Device Manager) with USB printed at the bottom, you can't load anything without it going to 0% and getting stuck?
