What to do with my TP2?

Greetings, I recently switched providers from Vz to Sprint. I'm now trying to recover some $ from the cancellation fees so I'll be ebaying my TP2. I kept my old # and unlocked the spl. With having done those 2 things, keeping the old # and unlocking it, will it hurt or benefit the resale price? Will it be able to be activated by whomever buys it or is it just junk? If it is still able to be used would it be best to update the software back to an earlier date? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
