Metropcs on a Touch pro 2 yet again

Ok, while it seems this has been covered and covered again, the search results have been a bit overwhelming.
My girl dropped her MetroPcs phone in the tub and I was gracious enough to give her my touch pro 2 due to me buying the Samsung Epic.
I flashed it with the energy rom and went to a metropcs guy who failed at Houdini a few times before deciding to flash it with the stock rom from HTC which essentially is a Sprint rom. It finally worked and she can talk and text but also has a few inconvenient sprint apps that ask for an internet connection which essentially just kicks the battery's arse.
Is there a metro pcs specific rom I can flash with that won't just make it all arsed up and difficult for me to get her back to even using basic functions? Also alot of the threads regarding this subject are older and it seems alot of settings have changed. People mention a cab around that will straighten out internet and mms and I have already used the whiterabbit.org sie to determine the prl or mrl...but entering the settings step by step seems for some reason to not be possible on the phone. It just doesn't have the options they describe. Is there a basic and essentially bloat free rom that I can install but assure her that I will still be able to get her up and running on it?
I have searched I promise but like I said...the results have been clouded and somewhat not always easy and to the point. If someone can lay it all out for me right here I would be fully indebted and appreciative. I could just sell the dang phone on ebay or craigslist and get her one from metro..but they got shite for phones...just askin for a little help here and..if ya point me in the direction of another thread I can assure you I have read it...just needing something more up to date..maybe a step by step saying dl this rom and then this cab and then enter all of this and yada yada...ty in advance and sorry if this topic seems to have been covered..I just am not having a ton of luck with it..

Otherwise, I recommend you look over on howardforums because I imagine The Metro Mafia over there has made a few roms for Metro.

With a ppc there is alot of bs when it comes to metro i have a touchpro on it as well as i had my tp2 on it removed the tp2 and went with boost just activated it with the help of some great people. Thats the wa to go.

What you're lookig for is the MSL# go to whiterabbit.org it work for wm phone i know it say android but trustme
it works.
