[Patch] Internet Explorer mobile Patch Display for WM 6.5.*

Found this over at XDA and thought others here might find it useful as well..

Patch Display by EagleDig(xda)

HERE'S a link to EagleDig's thread at XDA.

=> Internet Explorer mobile is a good browser on official HD2's Rom.
The layout is good, the display is fast, supports flash !
But on WM 6.5.*, the layout is very bad, the font are so big !
So he created a patch that corrects this problem, here are some screenshots that shows the difference:

After instaling the .cab file, restart your device.

wow finally IE gets some recognition. don't know y it only scores 5 on the acid3 test i don't really notice it cept on MySpace and the news articles on this site.

Yeah, so this seems to work. I went to xda-dev's forum index and the main headings were definitely smaller in size in addition to the better spacing overall. It's less legible when zoomed out but it's simply cleaner in both zoomed and regular views. Thanks to you sir.

update: doesn't really do much on the tp2 in portrait mode but in landscape mode,it also messed up the text size adjustment options and the G-Sensor detection

It def made a difference on my phone and g-sensor stills works as well. Did you soft-reset after installing?

nope i hate doing that. its working better now tho (the G-sensor)

You hate doing what, soft resetting? Almost anything that mods the OS or system files will require a SR to work properly.

i usually do it when it prompts to do so. I'm currently testing the rom I'm on now to see how long it can last without a soft reset, especially since after doin so on this rom my sms hangs after exiting but only for the first time after opening each message which is new for any 6.5 rom
