Contract coming up, time to get a new phone... idk..

So 12/1 is my renewal date and I have sero, while I detest the whole 4G tax, I am thinking towards the EVO. I dont know tho, my tp2 is slow and quirky even with mightyROM and I have had winmo for 4 years now. In a way it is time to move on, but I dont want to loose the tethering, and the awesome keyboard. But I want that fast processor and BIIIG screen.

Are there any other badassed phones slated for dec/jan? Should I just look for a good deal on the EVO?

i dont think you can go android on sero. i know on mine id have to change my plan to go android. cause of older plan. in long run for me to leave wm. and go android including the 10 4g tax. id be paying around 40 more a month then i am now.

no no, you CAN have android, sero becomes Sero Premium for mandatory 10/mo extra and if you have a 4G fone you get to pay the 4G penalty.

here comes more Android talk in the TP2 forum....just great! stay with the TP2 ,get off build 21889 and hold out for WP7 that's my advice. he dicho caso cerrado!

that didn't make any sense. everyone knows that ROMs made from build 21889 are problematic and buggy. install a rom based of any of the 219xx builds or a 6.1 ROM and you won't be saying that the TP2 is too slow and quirky

If you really like the hardware kb, I wouldn't rule out the Epic. My wife has it and it is a pretty sweet phone. Its definitely different from the EVO and doesn't seem to have quite the developer base but all the apps that work on the EVO also work on the Epic so depending how much additional development you are looking for, the Epic might be a great choice.

I don't think he's trying to be talked into staying with the TP2, he is obviously looking for a new device. If you don't have anything to contribute along those lines then why bother posting in this thread?

I say use a tweaked 6.1 rom and overclock it. Then wait for WP7.
