Another successful stolen phone recovery

So my sis in law "lost" her TP2 phone at a local AM/PM store. She has been calling it all day and nothing. She goes back to the store and asks the clerks if they have seen the phone, they both said no. She leaves and tries to look for it. this was at 11 in the morning.

630 she calls me and ask me if there is a way to track the phone. I go online and locate the phone at a near by residence where she "lost" the phone. I know the area where it is located and I wouldn't dare go there asking for anything. So we decided to call the cops and have them handle it with the help of the GPS tracking.

PD makes contact with a girl inside the house who said she did not see any phones. Cops told her that we were tracking it and it was located inside the house. She still denies having it. Cops ask me to dial the phone; and guess what??? RIIIING RIIIING inside the residence... Long story short. the girl who had the phone was the clerk at the AMPM store... she got handcuffed and taken to jail....

And now I'm happy....

She's lucky the phone wasn't on silent. The cops would not have been able to get in to look for it without hearing it.

and yes, we were lucky, but even then, the phone kept hitting the house. Eventually the cops would of searched her.. Even the Cop was amazed of what I was doing with the laptop and my phone as modem.. LOL

lol sweet. i had a similar experience once. i left my fone on the counter @ a store. i quickly called up a friend that had me on her sprint family locator. some ol smoker had my fone...
