In Europe Always Getting Uneeded "1" in Front of Phone Number
Have a SIM card for Europe and data is fine, but the #$%$# phone always puts a "1" in front of the number to be called and screws up. I cannot find the setting to remove the USA "1" automatic prefix.... Help!
Have been using Skype.

not sure where it's buried, but I believe the keyword is "prepend"

Go to Phone -> Click on Menu -> Global Smart Dialing (will be at the bottom so you need to swipe upwards to see it) - choose the country there in dial from.
