Re: Getting phone ready for resale
Check Ebay, you'll probably get more money if it's unlocked as some people have the money but not the time and knowledge to unlock a phone, specially if it's SIM unlocked. That's "usually" how it is with phones, again check ebay for what the market is in demand for.

Re: Getting phone ready for resale
Looks like around $150, I'm just wondering if I need to do like a Hardreset, or just a clean flash prior to selling it, to make sure all my personal info is gone.

Re: Getting phone ready for resale
I would hard reset at the very least. Probably hard reset > task 29 > reflash stock would be my path. Choosing whether to relock the HSPL would be a tough one though. I would just be sure to mention that the phone comes with the HSPL unlocked and that can prevent the user from getting support, and that all sales are final and made as-is, just to protect yourself.

Re: Getting phone ready for resale
i would mention thats its unlocked. in the description, jus say that its unlocked but can be relocked if the buyer wants it relocked. you could also offer to ship it with whatever rom the buyer wants. ive sold thousands of electronic items on ebay. the more you can tell the bidders about the item, the better
i would list it on ppcg first though, that way there is a chance you dont have to pay those ebay fees |

Re: Getting phone ready for resale
I thought about selling my TP2, and I had many requests to flash it back to stock but keep it HSPL and SIM unlocked.
Just do what puff601 and imnuts said... just cover your as* and you will be ok.

Is there a way to remove your phone #? So I flash back, but the phone still knows what my phone # is.
