It could be a malfunction in the send key that is causing this. Like someone is pressing it several times in succession causing the dialer to come up and dial the last number dialed.

Re: Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 - Calling By Itself, HELP!

I flashed 3 days ago with enrgy rom.
Put headphones on today and kept getting my music interupted by the phone dialing the last number.

I thought it was the today screen call log shortcut/button thingy being activated while in my pocket, so I locked the phone, and it dialed again.

I don't know what it is but it is not hardware, my phone never did that before the flash to this rom with cht. Before that I never have used cht.

that's what i figured because it's also activating speakerphone (i guess holding send key down activates speakerphone), but i also maybe thought that it would be doing it full time if it was a malfunction with the send key. i'd be willing to completely disable the send key, wouldn't happen to know a regedit to do so would you ?

yeah, i'm definitely starting to think it was CHT. however, it seems to only affect a small bit of TP2 owners, but still... hoping someone can come up with a fix sometime!

Well you could try to change the function or disable the send key with an app like Rhodium Keyboard Controller or AEButtonPlus.

Well, I would try Rhodium Keyboard controller first because it's free.
AEButton is older but great and I believe was written specifically for remapping these keys but I think it costs a little. Let me see if I can link you to them.
