No Tethering in Windows 7 - Page 2

there's an updated article on WMexperts that says that tethering will be available in a future update. so do more research before raggin on MS fandroid n00bs.

yeah, with carriers leaning towards tiered data plans and with 4g about to take hold, even if the os supports it dont hold your breath for free CARRIER APPROVED, tethering. im sure the good fols here and at xda will fix that eventually though

by the time sprint/verizon gets it wp7 will be multitasking and tethering

Honestly, between the ppl here and at XDA, it won't be long before someone figures out how to enable tethering.

hes just saying its gonna be awhile till cdma gets it and maybe it will be there, dont think so and i cant find a single story on it but tons saying its gone.

Yeah I never heard anything solid on it for 3rd party apps. I know that the native apps (music player, etc.) WILL multi-task, so you can listen to your music library while running other apps, browsing, etc. So I'm sure they CAN add support for 3rd party apps to multi-task.

The kicker is that the apps that are currently being developed won't have any multi-tasking support, so there will be a delay from when the OS supports it, and apps releasing that actually take advantage of it. Al though I'm sure devs will have a stockpile of ideas waiting for multi-tasking support (I know I do... lol).
