Phone stuck in "Tap this Screen to Configure"

I have been having probs with this, I have flashed like 3 times and havent gotten past this screen (flashing to stock). I have almost stabbed it with the stylus and finger. Could it be cause its borderline past 50%??

Were you having problems with the touchscreen responding before flashing? What do you mean borderline past 50%?

Re: Phone stuck in "Tap this Screen to Configure"

Another possibility, assuming the touch screen is usable and just not happy at the "touch here to continue" is to put an empty file in the root of your microsd card named "welcome.not". This should skip the tap here to continue stuff (operative word being should....)

Re: Phone stuck in "Tap this Screen to Configure"

No was flashing from my laptop. It was on a stock rom and was working fine and wanted to switch to something tweaked a lil so i went to sharkie rom. It pretty much just randomly bricked on me. So i wanted to flash again to stock. Well during this process it was at 39% so i charged up and then attempted to flash to stock rom. Well it would get stuck. So i decided to get another rom and come to find out the case was the problem. Pretty random. Worked fine before all the flashing.
